We sympathise with you, PM to Carib neighbours affected by heavy rains

Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller has expressed sadness at the loss of life and destruction of property as a result of the adverse weather conditions which hit St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines and Dominica.

Thirteen people have been killed and many more are missing or injured.

In a statement from Jamaica House, Simpson Miller expressed on behalf of Jamaicans sincere sympathy to the bereaved families.

She says Jamaica and Jamaicans stands with their Caribbean neighbours as they seek to begin to rebuild their lives.
