Former director of sports at the Social Development Commission Paulton Gordon is considering to run for the Jamaica Basketball Associationís (JaBA) top post at the next annual general meeting set for February.

Gordon announced his intentions after current JaBA boss, Ajani Williams, recently indicated that he would not be seeking reelection for a third term.

Gordon says a number of senior persons within the current administration have asked him to run for the post of president.

Calvin Martin, president of the Southern Conference Basketball Association, indicated last week that he could run for the top post also.
