Scammers have created several Facebook pages purporting to be Jamaican Tessanne Chin, the winner of the American singing competition, The Voice.

Checks with Tessanne's management team revealed that there is only one legitimate Facebook page registered as Tessanne Chin.

According to Sharon Burke, a member of Chin's management team, the official page for the Jamaican singer is with over 602,000 fans.

One of the bogus pages has more than 300,000 fans.

There is one selling 'Chinygoodaz T-shirts', as well as shirts bearing the images of People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive, Adam Levine, for prices ranging from US$21 to US$27.

During the singing competition, Internet sensation 'Duttyberry' had named Tessanne 'Chinitagoodaz'.

The site also sells Tessanne Chin mugs with the respondent to questions on the page purporting to be Tessanne.

Posts on one of the bogus Facebook pages also suggested that there was a link with the upcoming charity concert Shaggy and Friends.

Tessanne's management team says it knows nothing about the new pages or the memorabilia being sold.
