US, Canada severe winter storm may affect Jamaican flights

MBJ Airports Limited says flights departing to and arriving from this region may be delayed or cancelled as the northeastern United States and eastern Canada are currently experiencing a severe winter storm with heavy snowfall.

The MBJ has advised the travelling public to contact their respective airline directly regarding flight operations.

They say flights not destined to this region may be impacted as the airline networks back up from delays.

Travellers can visit MBJ Airports website to get updates on arrivals and departures www.mbjairport.com, updates will be made available as information becomes available.

The MBJ Airports Limited is also requesting industry partners to make contact with the airlines regarding flight operations prior to transporting guests to the airport.
