More weather instability for St Vincent

Published: Tuesday January 7, 2014 | 1:57 pm Comments 0

St Vincent and the Grenadines residents are bracing for the passage of another weather system.

Weather forecasters have been advising that a trough could add to the general instability across the eastern Caribbean as moisture levels increase.

Forecasters say the system could produce some moderate to heavy showers over the Windward Islands.

Schools which were due to re-open after the Christmas holidays will remain closed for another week.

Some of the schools, which are being used as emergency shelters, are still without piped water.
