Alleged lottery scammer Oneka Fisher was remanded when he appeared in the May Pen Circuit Court in Clarendon yesterday.

The 21-year-old man was ordered to return to court on January 17.

Fisher is charged with breaches of the Law Reform (Fraudulent Transactions) (Special Provisions) Act.

The charges arose from a police operation on Tuesday in Mocho during which investigators say Fisher was held with lottery scramming paraphernalia in the form of lead sheets.

It is alleged that he used the information to scam persons living in the United States.
