A chronicle of one woman's 1,100-mile solo hike undertaken as a way to recover from a recent catastrophe.
'Wild' is a biographical drama directed by Jean-Marc Vallée, written by Nick Hornby, and based on Cheryl Strayed's 2012 memoir 'Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail'. The film stars Academy Award winner Reese Witherspoon as Strayed, alongside Academy Award nominee Laura Dern (as Strayed's mother), Thomas Sadoski, Michiel Huisman and Gaby Hoffmann.
