Birthday Girls celebrate
With its distinctive stylish white bottle, Moet and Chandon's latest champagne, Moet Ice Imperial and fashion mogul Ralph Lauren's style were written all over Tanisa Samuel and Melissa Ferdinand's birthday dinner on Monday night.
The fabulous Samuel, the face of Wray and Nephew in the west, and Ferdinand of the Jamaica Public Service Company Limited, selected the elegant Round Hill Hotel and Villas for their joint celebration.
Samuel, selected chocolate cake and Ferdinand had black forest. Instead of red or white wine, both women were toasted with what Samuel has described as the world's first ever champagne specifically created to be enjoyed on ice.
Hosted by Round Hill's general manager, Omar Robinson, renowned for doing a phenomenal job, the women and their close friends who have tagged themselves, 'One Drink Only', were feted with a live cooking stations with Lobster tails, steak, salad options and a sumptuous dessert station.
The birthday girls hung out at the Ralph Lauren cocktail bar, which boast the fashion designer's signature navy and white striped fabric and pictures of famous people who have stayed at the world famous resort since the 1950s.
In her toast, Tanisa Samuel, said it was such a special time and this year is poised to be amazing.
"It marks growth and understanding. This year my motto is to dream a little bigger. This year I dare to be happy. I dare to have bigger dreams, to use my imagination and to follow my heart because I learned that the key to happiness comes from having gratitude, from having the love of close friends, letting go of fear and following my heart."
The two women thanked their friends for their role in helping them grow.
