  • Flemmings holds key

Jamaica College's (JC) captain Junior Flemmings, will be looking to lead his team to their 19th lien on the Inter-secondary Schools Sports Association (ISSA)/ Olivier Shield title when they oppose daCosta Cup Champions today at Juici Park football field starting at 2:30 p.m.

The vastly experienced Flemmings, who guided JC to the Manning Cup and LIME Super Cup titles respectively, is the most prolific striker in the corporate area football competitions with 23 goals this season.

The 18-year-old striker, netted a brace against St George's College in the Walker Cup final last week and is expected to score the goals for his team against Clarendon.

Flemmings is expected to receive valuable support from fellow strikers Akeem Shackleford and Ronaldo Brown. Sheldon McKoy, Donovan Segree and Raffique Bryan will marshall the midfield.

  • Watch Xhane Reid

Clarendon College's outstanding forward, Xhane Reid, could be the man to lead his team to their fourth Olivier Shield title when they lock horns with Jamaica College in today's big match at the Juici Park in Clarendon at 2:30 p.m.

The talented player who has been in good form throughout the season, netted a double to lead his team to an emphatic 3-0 win over St Elizabeth Technical last weekend.

The 18-year-old Reid finished the daCosta Cup with five goals and a number of assists.

Clarendon's coach Jackie Walters will no doubt be looking to Reid to lead the team's charge for victory.

"I think he will have a good game for us on Saturday," Walters said. "In the daCosta final he lived up to my expectations and helped the team win the final."
