Morgan's
Harbour: Comefeast on the waterfront

As
we continue to salivate in anticipation of this year's Gleaner-sponsored
Kingston Restaurant Week (KRW), organised by Stephanie Scott
of SSCO Event Planners, here are five more participating restaurants.
The package includes discounted and fixed...
Located
on the waterfront, The Red Jack Restaurant at Morgan's Harbour
Hotel wants to bring the sea to you.
Known
for its seafood, the restaurant strikes the right balance
between casual and elegant and, according to Christopher McCurdy,
executive chef, it will be no different for The Gleaner-sponsored
Kingston Restaurant Week (KRW). It's where people come when
they want to escape the hustle and bustle of Kingston without
having to endure the long drive, he said, so there is no restrictive
dress code.
The
Port Royal restaurant is making its first appearance on KRW
and promises to serve up a variety of seafood.
Chef
McCurdy was gracious enough to invite The Gleaner's Food team
into his kitchen to get a peak into how the royal rundown
snapper is prepared. It is one of the main dishes for KRW.
However,
for those who do not want to partake of the sea, chicken dishes,
like the pineapple curried chicken, will be available.
Patrons
will have the option of dining right on the waterfront where
the sea gently laps against the deck. Otherwise, they can
enjoy a more formal setting in the elegant dining room. But
if you want an even more intimate setting for a special occasion,
the gazebo can be booked.
