Lover of history
I am a lover of history and can never get enough. Each story told by various
persons, gives a different insight. My being Jamaican born but raised
in the U.S. (34 yrs. now), I am learning about the strength of my people
and can now share with my "Jamerican" children. Please continue
doing the good work
Wonderful feature, I hope parents ensure that their children read it.
I personally learned a lot. Continue the effort.
This is a brilliant
I was born in Jamaica and have lived in the UK for nearly 30 years. This
is a brilliant site. It is extremely educational. It is so very important
for us to look back at our history and to see the journey we have made
so far. It is a facinating history one that we should be very proud of.
Keep up the good work.
Many thanks for the

So interesting.... Looking forward to more in the series.
It's so sad that this rich history will some day share the stage when
this period of severe violence has passed, and, is finally written.
This historical account of Jamaica's past if refreshing and very educational.
It would actually be a great idea to incorporate such history on a general
Jamaica information web site. It would enable Jamaicans and children of
Jamaicans as well as visitors and scholars to learn about our rich history.
Look forward each
week to reading
Hi, I look
forward each week to reading the history of Jamaica, and also finding other
links, sure hope you will do it a lot longer than 6 months. When I visit
Jamaica I always try and get to know people and how people really are. I
also love to read about how it all came in to being. Thanks so much for
sharing your history with me. Peace and Joy always to you and Jamaica, Out
of manay ONE, if only the world over could be this way.
What an excellent idea. This has refreshed my knowledge of our history
and culture and will provide well needed information for my child and
all children of Jamaicans and others. Thank you so very much and I look
forward to the other segments over the coming months.
Thank You for Your
taking you for a stroll down memory lane for the next six months. Along
