Five-time Wimbledon Champion Roger Federer said he is wary of the threat posed by British Number One Andy Murray in the tournament, which serves off today.

With defending champion Rafael Nadal forced to pull out through injury, Federer and Murray are now seeded to meet in the July 5 final.

Federer starts his campaign against Yen-Hsun Lu today in the first competitive match to be played on Centre Court under its new retractable roof.

Serena Williams, Novak Djokoic and Maria Sharapova are also in action on the opening day.

But Murray does not play his first-round tie until tomorrow, when he takes on American Robert Kendrick.
