TCL Under 19 Round Up

Akeem Dewar and Patrick Harty shared seven wickets as fourth place Jamaica dismissed joint leaders Leeward Islands for 267 on today’s opening day of their third-round TCL Group West Indies three-day Under-19 match at Melbourne Oval.

Dewar ended with 4-68, while Harty had 3-63.

Leeward Islands’ innings includes two half centuries. Hayden Walsh Junior scored 56 while Akeem Saunders hit 52. Also getting among the runs were Shane Burton with 38 and Yannick Leonard with 32.

Jamaica in their reply were four without loss at Sports Time.

Over at Up Park Camp unbeaten Trinidad and Tobago, replying to defending champions Barbados’ first innings total of 183 were 37 without loss at Sports Time.

Over at Sabina Park, Guyana replying to Windward Islands’ first innings score of 215 were 71-2 at Sports Time.
