West Indies struggling against Bangladesh

Bangladesh, replying to West Indies first innings total of 237, were 35 for one at stumps on today’s opening day of the second Test at the National Stadium in Grenada.



Darren Sammy took the only wicket to fall when he had Imrul Kayes caught for 14.



The batsmen at the crease are Tamim Iqbal on 10 Enamul Haque Junior on five not out.



West Indies total was build around Travis Dowlin, who scored 95 from 162 balls and opener Dale Richards who hit 69 off 80 balls.



Omar Phillips, who had an opening stand of 60 with Richards, was dismissed for 23.



Shakib Al Hasan, Mahmudullah and Enamul Haque Junior picked up three wickets each.



West Indies are searching for a series-equaling victory after losing the opening test by 95 runs.



The Caribbean side is being represented by a replacement team as regular team members are on strike over a contractual dispute with the West Indies Cricket Board.
