Jamaica against Guyana

Unbeaten Jamaica, sent in to bat by Guyana, were 158 for five after 37 overs in their penultimate round TCL Group West Indies Under-19 One-Day game at Melbourne Oval.

The batsmen at the crease are Jermaine Blackwood on eight and Akeem Dewar on three.

Ramon Senior has so far top scored for the host with 63. Courtney Allen chipped in with 21, while Bryan Clarke scored 20, Paul Palmer 19 and John Campbell 7.

Right-arm medium pacer Seon Daniel has so far taken most wickets for Guyan with two for 20.

The Jamaicans hold a four-point lead over Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago and can wrap up the championship today.

Over at Jamaica Broilers Ground, the Leeward Islands, sent in to bat, were struggling on 107 for seven after 38 overs against Barbados.

Shane Burton has so far top scored with 40, while Jason Holder has taken three for 28.

Over at Sabina Park, the Windward Islands, batting after winning the toss, were bowled out for 98 by defending champions Trinidad and Tobago.
