Jamaica eliminated on day two

Jamaica’s National Surf Team was eliminated on today’s second day of the International Surfing Association Billabong World Surfing Games being held at Hermosa Beach in Costa Rica.

Imani Wilmot ended up with the best result for the team. She finished 33rd out of 64 competitors in the Open Women division to gain 320 points.

Jamaica’s best finish among the men was Shane Simmonds. He was 65th out of 120 surfers in the Open Division for 160 points.

The team is scheduled to return home on Saturday.
