JNA names squad for World Series in England

The Jamaica Netball Association, JNA, has named a 12-member senior national squad to represent the country in the World Series in Manchester, England from October 9 to 11.



Goal shooter Simone Forbes has been retained as captain and center court player Nadine Bryan as vice captain.



The other shooters named are Romelda Aikens, Crystal Gordon and Nadia Hanson.



The remaining members of the squad are center court players Nichala Gibson, Sasher-Gaye Henry and Tracy-Ann Robinson; defenders Nicole Aiken, Malysha Kelly, Sasha-Gay Lynch and Paula Thompson.



The JNA has also selected the players for the home series against Australia and New Zealand.



Vanessa Walker, Sateva Taylor and Althea Byfield have replaced Nardia Hanson, Tracy-Ann Robinson and Sasha-Gay Lynch from the squad selected for the tour of England.



Jamaica will play Australia on October 17 and 18; while they will face New Zealand on October 20 and 22.
