Hilaire tipped to be new Windies CEO

Ernest Hilaire is tipped to be the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the West Indies Cricket Board.

Hilaire, an attorney-at-law in his native St Lucia is likely to assume his duties before the end of the month.

He will replace Donald Peters, who departed the post in July, for personal reasons.

The post of CEO of the West Indies Cricket Board attracted more than 30 applicants from the Caribbean, United States and as far as New Zealand.

Robert Bryan, the former CEO of World Cup Jamaica, is tipped to fill Hilaire’s position with the 20/20 World Cup organization.
