Robinho unavailable for Brazil game
Manchester City forward Robinho says he will not play in tomorrow’s friendly against England, ending a dispute between Brazil and the Premier League club over his fitness.
City had insisted that Robinho should not play after being sidelined with an ankle injury.
The 25-year-old Brazilian says he did not want to be in the middle of a row between his club and national team.
Meanwhile, England midfielder Frank Lampard will be out for three weeks because of a torn muscle in his left thigh.
The Chelsea player was hurt while training yesterday and pulled out of the friendly against Brazil in Doha.
