Jamaica-bred super horse BRUCE ON THE LOOSE will be the main attraction on Trinidad and Tobago’s nine-race card as he puts his unbeaten Santa Rosa Park record on the line Saturday afternoon.

The three-year-old colt, a smashing winner of the T&T Derby in September, faces six rivals in Saturday’s 1,750-metre Stakes and Lower Handicap worth TT$70 thousand.

Brian Boodramsingh, a claiming apprentice, will be astride the John O’Brien trained roan colt, who shoulders 59.5 kilos, the heaviest weight allotted to any horse by the Arima Race Club handicappers this season.

The field includes champion eight-year-old Chief Commander, also from the O’Brien barn, and the US-import Raging Halo.

A double classic winner in Jamaica earlier this year before arriving in Trinidad, BRUCE ON THE LOOSE has already won four times this year at Santa Rosa Park.
