Jamaican Nicholas Walters and the Dominican Republic’s Carlos Manuel Reyes tipped the scales at the identical weight ahead of their clash tonight for the vacant FedeLatin featherweight title in Haiti.

Reyes and Panama-based Walters each weighed in at 124 and three-quarter pounds for their clash of unbeaten boxers for the FedeLatin 126 pound belt at the Karibe Convention Centre in Petionville in the city.

The bout, sanctioned by the World Boxing Association (WBA) will be the first for Walters outside his training base in Panama City.

Sidelined in recent months with an injury, Walters is having his first fight since August, but he has declared himself fit and ready for battle.

Walters boasts an unblemished record of 12 victories including 10 knockouts and Reyes is 13 victories with 7 knockouts.
