The Police in Spain have arrested 13 people following the seizure of two tonnes of cocaine.

The police say those arrested include airport customs officers after the drug was intercepted at the Foronda airport.

They say the drug was coming from Columbia and was hidden in the stems of flowers.

Spanish media report that the drug is worth 70 million euros.

This is Spain\'s second major drugs haul in a week.

Last Tuesday, a ship carrying 1.5 tonnes of cocaine was seized off the coast during an international police operation.

A drug smuggling network involving Colombia is being investigated.
