Jamaica, Argentina to face off next month

The Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) has finally secured a match for the Reggae Boyz against two-time World Cup winners, Argentina.

President of the JFF, Captain Horace Burrell said plans were finalized late last night.

Burrell said the match will take place on February 10 in Argentina.

The game will mark the return to the bench of Coach Diego Maradona, who will end a two-month FIFA ban on Friday.

Maradona was banned and fined for his post-match comment following the World Cup qualifier against Uruguay last October.

Burrell says the match is in keeping with the Federation’s plan to have a game a month for the Reggae Boys. Already, the Reggae Boyz are down to tackle Canada at the National Stadium on Sunday, January 31.
