Neville ‘Bertis’ Bell, who guided St Georges College to back to back Manning Cup and Olivier Shield titles last month, has been appointed coach of four-time Premier League winners, Portmore United.

Bell replaces Linval Dixon who resigned as head coach this week following the club’s poor showing in the first two rounds of the Digicel Premier League.

It will be Bell’s first stint at the Premiership level.

Portmore United are currently lying in seventh position in the 12-team league after 22 matches.
