Victoria with Bravo beat Tasmania

Victoria with West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo beat Tasmania by nine wickets in Australia’s Twenty/Twenty Big Bash tournament match at the MCG today.

Tasmania, batting first after winning the toss, made 160 for eight off their allotted 20 overs with Tim Paine top scoring with 61.

Bravo was among the wickets picking up one for 29 off four overs. Clint McKay and Dirk Nannes took two wickets each.

Needing 161 for victory, Victoria reached the target with 22 balls remaining for the loss of one wicket.

Brad Hodge was the batsman dismissed. He top scored with 90. Bravo was undefeated on nine and Aaron Finch 58 not out.
