Leewards bat first in four-day regional match

Leeward Islands, batting first after winning the toss, reached 68 for four against champions Jamaica in their second round West Indies Cricket Board four-day regional match in St Kitts.



The match is being played at Warner Park.



Discarded West Indies pacer Daren Powell, Dave Bernard Junior, Nikita Miller and Shawn Findlay have taken a wicket apiece.



Jamaica are joint leaders along with Combined Campuses and Colleges on 12 points.



OVER AT ELQUEMENDO, Combined Campuses and Colleges, choosing to bat against Barbados, reached 67 for two in their first innings at the lunch interval.



Meanwhile, Trinidad and Tobago have won the toss and chose to bat in their day/night second round match against Guyana at the Vivian Richards Cricket Ground.



The game is the first day/night contest in a Regional First-Class Championship.
