Eltham knockout Waterford

Eltham High have retained the Jamaica International Insurance Company Knockout crown following a two-wicket victory over Waterford High at Chedwin Park in St. Catherine yesterday.



Chasing 124 for victory, Eltham High reached 125 for eight with 24 balls remaining.



Sanjay Watson, 37, Keino Paul-Sailsman, 26, and Frederick Ermitt, 20 not out, got most runs for Eltham.



Bowling for Waterford High, Marlon Hoilett ended with two for 19 and Marlon Walters took two for 22.



Waterford High were bowled out for 123 in 40.5 overs against the bowling of Joseph Dennie three for 23 and Frederick Ermitt two for 15.



It was Eltham second title this year. The Spanish Town-based school won the Grace Shield Premier title last week.
