Another Businessman killed

Clarendon police continues their investigation of a well-known businessman who was murdered last night.



Clarendon-based Service Station owner and School board chairman, 55-year-old Hibbert Simpson, was shot and killed at his business place in Mocho.



The police reported that Mr. Simpson was outside his business place at 8:45 when he was approached by two gunmen.



Its further reported that a licensed firearm holder who was inside the building saw what was happening and fired on the men.



The gunmen reportedly shot at the firearm holder injuring him in the leg. The gunmen also shot Mr. Simpson who died on the spot.



He is the second businessman to be killed in the last four days.



Last Saturday, Roy Lee was gunned down at the Supermarket which he operated in Linstead St. Catherine.
