Nearly one month after being arrested, the fourth suspect held in connection with the murder of former Honorary British Consul to Jamaica, John Terry, is yet to be charged.

The 23 year-old security guard, whose name has not been released, was arrested at his workplace in Montego Bay, St James on January 21.

Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of Crime, Les Green said while the suspect has not yet been charged in connection with Mr Terry’s murder, he has been charged for other criminal offences.

ACP Green said the other suspects were interrogated but released.

Mr Terry, who was 65, was found murdered on September 10 last year at his house in Mount Carey, St James.
