Jamaica face South Korea

Jamaica junior team is now preparing to face off with South Korea on Wednesday in its final preliminary game of the Junior World Rugby Trophy in Chile.



Jamaica, the first Caribbean country to qualify for an International Rugby Board age-group tournament, are out of contention to qualify for the 2009 Junior World Championship.



Jamaica were beaten heavily in both Pool ‘B’ Game. On April 15, Jamaica were defeated 90-3 by Georgia and then on Saturday lost 82-0 to Uruguay.



In the Cayman Islands, Jamaica’s senior team suffered a 10-3 defeat to Guyana yesterday in the qualifying tournament for the 2011 Rugby World Cup.



The Jamaicans will now play in the Bowl semi-final against the Cayman Islands. Bahamas and Mexico will face off in the other semi-final.
