Jamaica slips in Fifa rankings

Jamaica’s Reggae Boys have slipped one place to Number 79 on the latest FIFA rankings list released today.

Although slipping a place, Jamaica are the highest ranked Caribbean team on the list with nearest rivals Trinidad and Tobago ranked at 91, after gaining two places.

Brazil reclaimed top spot from Spain, returning to Number one and ending the five-month reign of the European champions.

Brazil have now held top spot for a total of 143 months.

World Cup semifinalists, Portugal, went up a spot to sit third, swapping places with the Netherlands.

Argentina rose two places to move to seventh place, while France dropped two spots to fall to 10th, in the most notable changes in the top 10.
