Two more guns found in Tivoli
The security forces are reporting that they recovered two more guns in Tivoli Gardens, Kingston, Jamaica today.
This now brings the total number of firearms recovered in their operations in West Kingston to 52 and more than 10,000 assorted rounds of ammunition.
The latest discovery was made during a tour of the Tivoli Gardens community by Commissioner of Police, Owen Ellington.
Some civil society groups were also a part of the tour, including the Salvation Army and the United Nations Development Programme.
Senior Gleaner Reporter, Arthur Hall, who was a part of the tour, says the UNDP is looking at providing residents with jobs in the cleanup efforts for Tivoli.
