PNP wants Government to release LNG report

The Opposition People's National Party (PNP) has renewed its call for the Government to release the findings of a report it commissioned to examine the feasibility of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).

The Opposition says its call comes against the background of media reports highlighting some damning conclusions contained in the document, which also raises questions about the government’s handling of the LNG Project.

Paulwell says the Opposition believes that the consultants’ report caused Prime Minister Bruce Golding to remove responsibility for the project from Mining and Energy Minister, James Robertson and to establish a multi-sectoral Steering Committee.
