Grenada 20/20 squad call off protest

Members of Grenada’s national 20/20 squad who went on strike last week have now called off their protest action.



The players returned to Queen’s Park Stadium yesterday to resume training in preparation for the start of the second Stanford 20/20 Cup in January.



They were asking for signed contracts and about EC$1,000 each in monies owed to them from last year’s competition.



Grenada, were semi-finalists in last year’s inaugural event,. They play Anguilla on February 3 in its first game.
