OUR extends submission deadlines for bids
The Office of Utilities Regulation has extended the submission deadline for bids to supply 480 megawatts of electricity to the national grid.
Prospective bidders for the supply of the generating capacity now have until April 29 to submit their documents.
The original deadline was the end of March.
However, in January there was some controversy regarding the bidding process.
Prospective bidders complained that they were yet to be provided with information on the price at which liquefied natural gas would be sourced, and that would be essential to complete their bids.
