The trial of the head of the Fellowship Tabernacle church, Reverend Al Miller, is expected to begin today in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court.

Reverend Miller is before the court on the charges of harbouring a fugitive and perverting the course of justice.

The police charged the pastor after he was found in a car in the company of then fugitive Christopher ‘Dudus’ Coke along the Mandela Highway in St. Catherine last June.

Coke was being sought in the relation to the extradition request by the United States.

In his defence, Reverend Miller has said that he was taking Coke to the US Embassy in Kingston.

However, US Embassy officials have said that no arrangement was made for Coke to be taken to the facility.
