Investigators have sent particles from the burnt remains found in a car in Clarendon yesterday for DNA testing.

This is to determine if the remains are those of a human being.

The Hayes police made the discovery just after 1 pm yesterday.

The police were summoned to the scene by residents of the New Bowen community in Hayes who found the burnt out Toyota corolla motorcar.

Investigators say they stumbled on the remains during a search of the burnt out vehicle.

Its believed that the remains could be those of a missing member of the one blood gang who has been identified as “Lenky”.

However the police are yet to confirm this.

“Lenky” has been missing for several days.

The police reported their investigations have revealed that the registration number on the car belongs to another vehicle
