Former mining minister, James Robertson told journalists today he will continue to play an active role in the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP).
Robertson made the disclosure during a brief interview, before entering Gordon House for today’s sitting of Parliament.
He said he has no intention of stepping down as the Member of Parliament for Western St. Thomas and as deputy leader of the JLP area council two.
Robertson repeated that the allegations against him are false and has vowed to clear his name.
The former minister also rejected claims that the revocation of his Unites States visa will negatively affect the image of the JLP.
