Sri Lanka rack up 384 for six

Captain Mahela Jayawardene scored an unbeaten 149 to lead hosts Sri Lanka to 384 for six on today’s second day of the third and final Test against England at Galle.



Jayawardene resumed this morning on 51 with Sri Lanka 147 for four.



He put on 149 with Tillakaratne Dilshan (84) and an unbroken 97 with Chaminda Vaas (46 not out) before bad light stopped play.



Steve Harmison was the pick of the English bowlers with three for 72 runs.



Ryan Sidebottom and Ravi Bopara have taken a wicket a piece.



Sri Lanka lead the series 1-0 after winning the first Test by 88 runs.
