Supreme Court gets two new judges
The Judicial Service Commission has made two new appointments to the bench of the Supreme Court.
The new appointees are Resident Magistrate Frank Williams, and Kirk Anderson, attorney at law.
Williams and Anderson are to be sworn in at Kingston House on September 15.
Resident Magistrate Williams has been acting as a Supreme Court judge since November 2008.
He was called to the Jamaican bar in 1989 and was appointed resident magistrate in 2005.
Anderson was called to the bar in Belize in 1993 and the Jamaican bar in 2007.
He has also served as a director of public prosecutions in Belize, has been a partner in the Jamaican law firm DunnCox since 2007.
