JLP Disgrace

Human Rights Group, Jamaicans for Justice (JFJ) said they were pleased with the plans outlined by the new police commissioner for improving the Jamaica Constabulary Force.



Executive Director of JFJ, Dr. Carolyn Gomes said the appointment of Rear Admiral Hardley Lewin is an encouraging sign for crime fighting in Jamaica.



The JFJ is encouraged by the commissioner’s signing of an anti-corruption plan for the JCF she continued.



Dr. Gomes also stated that Rear Admiral Lewin’s vision for improving public safety is critical for creating a peaceful country.
