Jamaican jockey rides six winners

Jamaican jockey Shaun Bridgmohan remarkably won six races at Fair Grounds in New Orleans, Louisiana at the weekend.



His winners include four Stakes Races for top trainer Steve Asmussen.



The duo collaborated by landing the Sugar Bowl Stakes with SOK SOK, the Latellier Memorial Stakes with BLITZING, the Esplanade Stakes with TRES DREAM and the Bonapaw Stakes with STORMIN BAGHDAD.



Bridgmohan has now moved to second in the jockeys’ championship race with 18 wins. This is 10 behind leader Jamie Theriot on 28.
