Three men charged with the murder of police constable Andre Chung have been remanded to return to court on September 2.

The accused men, Christopher Thompson, Danill Powell and Rash-Amin Brown appeared in the Gun Court section of the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court.

It was reported that on March 4 that Constable Chung boarded a taxi after attending classes at the Chinese Benevolent Society.

The next day the policeman’s bullet- riddled body was found in Jacks Hill, St. Andrew.

It’s alleged that the three accused murderers rented a car and used it as a taxi as part of a scheme to rob passengers.

The motorcar was later found with bloodstains.

Investigations by police assigned to the Major Investigation Task Force led to the arrests of the men.
