The case in which dancehall artiste, Vybz Kartel, has been charged for the murder of Clive Williams has been set for mention on December 19.
The entertainer appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court this morning, where his lawyers were expected to make a bail application on his behalf.
However, the application was not made as the prosecution is yet to serve the defence with all the relevant documents in the case.
Williams was reportedly beaten and stabbed in Havendale, St Andrew, on August 16, but the police have not located his body.
Last month, the Investigating Officer in the case told the court that the police have video and audio recordings linking Vybz Kartel, and his co-accused to the killing.
The investigating officer said the police also have eye witness statements connecting the men to the murder.
Kartel, whose real name is Adidja Palmer, is jointly charged with his stylist Calvin 'Moonie' Haye, deejay Shawn Storm, and Kiro Jones.
Yesterday, Kartel was offered bail in the Supreme Court by Justice Bertram Morrison in relation to another murder case.
However, Kartel failed to take up the three million dollar bail granted to him because of the charge against him in the Clive Williams case.
