The Minister of Labour is to hold talks today with representatives of the National Workers Union and the Jamaica Public Service Company (JPS), over a pension entitlement dispute.

The NWU is taking issue with plans by the company to change its pension scheme.

According to the union, among the changes proposed by the JPS management is a reduction of benefits.

The NWU said this has angered pensioners, who insist that they will not support that proposal.
