Rusheen McDonald runs PB to head 400m final field

Rusheen McDonald ran a personal best of 45.23 seconds in his semi-final to lead all qualifiers in the men's 400m final at the JAAA/SVL Jamaica National Senior Championships at the National Stadium tonight.



McDonald beat favorite Jermaine Gonzales who ran 45.27 seconds and Nolan Errol who ran 45.55 seconds.






Dane Hyatt won semi-final one of the men's 400m in 45.26 seconds, with Akheem Gauntlett, second in 45.35 seconds and Riker Hylton, third, in 45.36 seconds.



Edino Steele qualified for the finals of the men's 400m after winning his semi-final. The former Lannaman's Prep School student won in 45.52 seconds beating Javere Bell who finished second in 45.78 seconds, while Nicholas Maitland was third in 46.37 seconds.
