LONDON, England:

Jermaine Gonzales, who a few days ago said if it was up to him, he would not run in the 4x400m because of a hamstring problem, will run the third leg for Jamaica, in this morning's heat.

The race is scheduled for 5:35 a.m.

Gonzales finished sixth in his heat earlier this week.

This morning, he will be joined by national 400m champion Dane Hyatt, Riker Hylton and Errol Nolan.

Hyatt will run the lead off leg and will hand over to Hylton, on to Gonzales, with Nolan anchoring.

The Jamaicans will be trying to repeat or better the bronze medal performance in last year's IAAF World Championships in Athletics in Daegu, South Korea.

The Jamaicans will run from lane nine in heat two, which also features medal favourites USA and The Bahamas.
