St. Elizabeth police are still to charge Angella Reid, 33, who was taken into custody in connection with the death of an 11 year old boy.

Ms. Reid, who is reportedly of unsound mind, was detained last week Sunday after she called the Nain police to report that she had killed Rayon Arnold of Claremont, St. Elizabeth.

She reportedly led them to the boy’s mutilated body almost a mile from the road.

The police said they are waiting on Ms. Reid to secure the services of a lawyer before any charges can be laid.

Reports are that Reid was recently released from police custody after being arrested for injuring her son.

The police reported that she also destroyed furniture and fixtures in a house in the community of Claremont where she lives.
