Police re-impose islandwide curfews

Published:Thursday | October 25, 2012

The police have announced that they will be re-imposing the curfews that were lifted this morning following the passage of Hurricane Sandy.

The curfews will take effect at 6 o’clock this evening.

The police say the curfews are being re-imposed in an effort to curtail looting and other criminal acts and to protect life and property as much of the island remains without power.
