Haitian Opposition demonstrators vow to keep up pressure on President
Opposition demonstrators in Haiti have vowed to keep up the pressure on President Michel Martelly to leave office.
They say they plan to stage another demonstration on November 29 as part of a series of protests to force the downfall of the 30-month-old government.
On Monday, government and opposition supporters took to the streets in separate demonstrations as political tension increase.
The demonstrators clashed in Petion-ville, throwing stones at each other.
A demonstration that was scheduled in Cap-Haitien was not allowed by the police after the organisers failed to reach an agreement with police.
